Fall of roof at the fact the top coal 6 inches thick and clod 2.5 inches had been cleared 3 feet over the bottom coal thus leaving 4.5 feet of roof unsecured. The props were within l4 feet from the face of the bottom coal. The boy's collier was to blame as he does not appear to have taken to secure the roof which apparently was not good over the bottom coal.
