2 February 1926: Glencraig Man's Death – Andrew Guthrie, 2 North Glencraig, whose back and spine were severely injured in an accident in Glencraig Colliery, has died in Dunfermline and West Fife Hospital. He was taken to hospital after the accident as it was considered his injuries were of a very serious nature. Mr Guthrie was of a quiet unassuming nature and much respected. He leaves a widow and one child, a girl, for whom much sympathy is felt. [Dunfermline Journal 6 February 1926]
