Deceased was driving two full tubs down to a landing when the second tub became derailed. The deputy uncoupled the tubs, and the pony immediately started away. In grasping the cheek rein after the tub had moved about 5 feet, the driver got his head between the side of the tub and a prop. He was instantly killed.
