- Details of Event
- Deceased was found mangled by the bevel wheels of a revolving nut screen, 20 feet above ground level. His oil can was lying near and his clothes had probably caught in the wheels whilst he was oiling the bearings. The washer attendant usually did this work as deceased had a wooden left leg and his left hand had been maimed. Notices were posted prohibiting oiling whilst the machinery was in motion.
