On road, cliff, 6ft by 18ins. by 12ins thick, fell on deceased while he was sitting down waiting for a tram to be filled. It was part of the ‘rippings,’ and half its width had rested on a cog and a prop. A shot had been fired in the rippings near the spot on the previous night, and had probably loosened the stone.
