28 May 1915: Blantyre – Pit Accident - Yesterday Fred Gray, 17, 68 Glasgow Road, Blantyre, was conveyed in Hamilton motor ambulance to the Royal Infirmary, suffering from a fracture of the right leg below the knee sustained in Clyde Colliery.
