Deceased was holding a light while his mate wedged the coal down when a sudden weight bump came across the place and the coal at the face fell and at the same time the roof fell and killed the deceased. The fall disclosed a slip running into the roof at the face side and another parallel to it at the goaf side. The place was well timbered and the roof seemed good.
