Details of Event
Deceased was engaged in taking down a canch at a flat. He tried to pull a large stone down with his pick, but failed to do so. He then went under the stone to loosen it, when it fell on him, killing him almost instantly. Deceased showed great thoughtlessness. Probably if a pinch bar bad been used the fatality would not have occurred.
