Fall of ground from the back of a stope in the 375-fathom level. The stone seem to have come from the roof, or hanging wall, some 30 feet above them. Examination by candle is impracticable; in such places thorough and careful examination can only be made from time to time with flare lights. There undoubtedly is a danger, but how to meet it practically is in unsolved difficulty.
