They were about to repair a leaky water-pipe on the outside of a recently erected retaining wall, when part of the wall fell over upon them and killed them. Apparently the falling of the wall was due to the leaking of the water-pipe on the inside of the wall, and the consequent swelling of the clay and other material which had been packed behind it. 2 killed.
