- 10 April 1929: Stirling Miner Injured - Having only started work in the Manor Powis Colliery yesterday after a period of nearly three years' idleness, Charles Gibson, a miner, residing at Baker Street, Stirling, had the unfortunate experience of being involved in a serious accident last night. He was crushed by a runaway hutch, and was removed in an unconscious condition to Stirling Royal Infirmary. [Scotsman 11 April 1929]
