9 December 1939: Fall of Stone. - A formal verdict was also returned in the case of John Gibbons, (55), Gladstone Place, Dunfermline. Gibbons died on December 9 in hospital from injuries sustained on September 18, caused by a fall of stone from the roof of his working place in No. 4 Mine, Dean Colliery, Kingseat.
