7 October 1915: Wishaw Miner Killed- While at work in Bailliesmuir Colliery yesterday William Geddes (21), miner, who resided with his father in Cambusnethan Street, Wishaw, was buried by a fall from the roof, and before he could be extricated life was extinct, death being due to suffocation.
