Deceased was buried and suffocated by a heavy fall of clod in a road which was being ripped and retimbered. He had just filled a tub of dirt, and the chargeman had gone out to seek a bar to put up at the ripping brow, when the fall occurred, reeling out three settings. The fall came off at a slip running across the road, and went up to a smooth parting 4ft. above the settings.
