The deceased and others were clearing away a heavy fall, and, when getting towards the end of their work, a further fall, 31 feet in length 11 to 13 feet wide, and 5 feet 6 inches thick, occurred. It brought down sprags set 4 feet apart, which had been placed to temporarily support the roof while clearing debris. The three men were killed on the spot. 3 killed.
