Roof fall. A young, well known Stirling man met his death as the result of an accident in Millhall Colliery on Friday night. He was Robert Fraser (23), residing at 44 Baker Street and he was operating a coal cutting machine when a stone weighing 15 cwt fell from the roof and he received fatal injuries. Deceased is survived by a widow and two young children. (Stirling Observer).
