While hewing in a longwall working in the Anthony or Two Feet seam a false bedded stone fell from the roof canting out two props which were set under the thin edge. The stone was 9 feet long by 3.5 feet wide with a thickness of 6 to 15 inches and came away at greasy parting when the deceased had taken out the supporting coal.
