Deceased was pushing a full tub, weighing about 10.5 cwts, up a gradient of 1 in 16 preparatory to another man coupling it on to the run. Thinking it was coupled, he left off pushing, and the tub moved back about a foot and crushed his head against a bar some 8 inches above the top of the tub fracturing his skull.
