Ignition of fire-damp and air from opening his safety lamp to get a light. A fall of roof had broken down the brattice in a strait rise place; deceased in restoring the brattice lost his light, contrary to the rules he opened his lamp, as he thought on the intake side of the brattice immediately there was an ignition. Died on 27th.
