Taking out bars and props in an abandoned roadway using a hammer. The first prop he struck under a bar, down came the roof, covering him. The roof had fallen inbye side of bar, he ought to have put a middle prop under the bar and used a gablock and chain next to fallen broken roof with two slips present. (Good roof.).
