Falls in Mine (b) Falls of Roof – He was working at a stooping face when a small fall of top coal came away from the waste side. He was knocked backwards and fell on top of some loose coal in such a way as to cause internal injuries. He was weak constitutionally and very much run down in health. He died of shock about two hours after the accident occurred.
