He was working with his father, and they were raking out a small pillar between two old roads. The whole of the face had been holed and the sprags withdrawn, and about 2.25 of tons of ironstone got down. They were resetting the sprags, with the intention of making the holing deeper, when another fall occurred and killed the deceased and seriously injured his father.
