Fall of roof in a roadway (near the face of the working) along which he was passing. He was engaged during the shift repairing near the place but owing to there being a heavyweight on instead of going the shortest way to the point be wanted to reach he went out to the heading and up to a stall road above and was killed while coming down by the face.
