A journey of trams was standing on a parting and as the road dropped outwards about 4 inches per yard a chain fastened to an arm was used to hold the journey. At the request of a haulier deceased tried but failed to unfasten the chain when the journey was pulled in. The arm was pulled out and the collar lags and some rubbish fell on deceased. He died on October 10th from peritonitis and pneumonia. Bute seam.
