While assisting a shotman he was sent up a heading to prevent anyone approaching a shot of rippite about to he fired in the roof. The shotman was delayed by kinks in the cable for about four minutes before he could fire the shot. It was supposed he thought the shot had missed fire and had returned just as it exploded.
