- Details of Event
- Fall on road, cliff, 20 feet by 12 feet by 9 feet thick. He and his partner had drawn out two partly broken pairs of timber with a prop-drawing machine at the mouth of an old stall, some broken cliff fell, and after allowing the place time to settle, they commenced to fill it away, when three pairs of good timber were crushed out, and the above quantity of cliff fell on deceased. Evidently pulling out the two pairs of timber caused a movement in the root and resulted in a sharp crush. Five feet seam.
