- A railway wagon was to he tipped and deceased was knocking up the catch of the end door to enable this to be done. In consequence he did not hear the approach of seven other wagons which had run over a scotch. He was crushed between the buffers and died about 20 minutes later. He had been repeatedly warned not to interfere with the wagons the last time only an hour before the accident, as it was not part of his duties.
