Whilst using a bar to prise a stone loose in some way the deceased was injured about the ribs either by twisting himself to avoid falling or by a blow from the bar. Pleurisy set in. From the medical evidence at the inquest after post-mortem examination it was shown that death was due to accident. Died 9th May.
