- Details of Event
- A length of 12 yards of holed coal well supported by sprags and by two cookers, fell upon deceased as he was holing and killed him. The stallman was working at the buttock end, 10 yards away, and it is supposed that the fall commenced there. The deputy had examined the place 15 minutes before the accident happened and considered it safe.
