- Details of Event
- A locomotive with four empty wagons in front of it, pushed a loaded wagon into a dead end where it was scotched by deceased. The driver then started suddenly in the opposite direction, and immediately stopped. Deceased appeared to have attempted to cross the rails between the full and empty wagons, and the latter rebounding owing to the sudden stop, nipped him against the full wagon. He died from shock and internal haemorrhage.
