On road coal and fireclay 12ft. by 5 to 6ft. by 5ft. thick Deceased and a collier were preparing to set a prop under the collar of a framing when the latter broke and allowed three bars and the overlying rubbish to fall. A squeeze had come on that morning, and the fireman, having observed a slight crack in the framing, sent the two men to prop it and some of the other timbers in the neighbourhood. Nine feet seam.
