Inspection made and inquest attended. When two tubs were being hauled up a steep brow they got fast against the timber and the chain connecting the rope to the tubs gave way and deceased when going to see what was wrong got fatally crushed by the tubs. The road was only 3ft 2in in height in places and should have been kept a larger size for haulage purposes.
