Fall of roof at face; while boring a hole in the face of the coal with a hand drill, a prop gave way behind him, and a stone 4 feet 6 inches, by 2 feet 6 inches, by 1 foot in thickness one end fell from the roof, and caused him to fall heavily against the hand drill.
