- Details of Event
- Deceased was standing near the hind quarters of his pony while it was turning round in a shunt to get into position to take out a journey of loads. An S-shaped link which attached the side chains of the pony's gears to the stem somehow became entangled in the buckle of a belt which deceased was wearing. The pony was startled and set off along the level dragging the deceased a distance of 90 yards before it was stopped, causing a compound fracture of deceased's skull.
