Inspection made and inquest attended. The deceased was found dead between the air-receiver and the compressed-air engine-house apparently about midnight he having slipped and fallen over or under the fence of the staging between the two engine-houses the fence rail being 2ft. 9ins. from the floor. It was a frosty night and the deceased would have fallen about ten feet on to the air-receiver when he received the fatal injuries.
