Details of Event
Davies had been cutting round a breakdown and had just got a narrow heading through. In order to make more head room he was cutting down top coal when a fall occurred. Deceased was cutting along the goaf side and after the fall a slip was seen along the face side. This was said to have been invisible prior to the accident. A foreset would probably have prevented the accident.
