Fall of roof at face. While assisting to set a prop under the roof, a stone, measuring 13ft. long 3 ft 3ins wide, and 16ins in thickness fell from a strong shale roof. The fall occurred between a row of props which were 5ft from face, and the coal face. After the accident a smooth joint became visible in the roof. Red Vein. Naked lights.
