Details of Event
There was a slip in the roof of the left bank and timber was closely set. Deceased tried some newly exposed roof at the side of the slip and found it heavy. He was setting an extra prop when 12 cwt. of bind fell from the slip. He was unable to get away owing to two props at his back. A clot of blood in the system caused by the injuries resulted in his death on 4th April.
