He had dropped eight empty trams into slant on double parting and inbye haulage rope had brought out full trams and attached mooring chain - inbye rope was attached to empties in shunt and pulled it - sixth tram became derailed and side of tram wedged against steel arch - he was stooping to pick up barhook while rope was in motion - derailed tram held journey causing third tram to tumble against him - leg fractured.
