Fall of roof at face, shale measuring 9ft. 6ins. by 5ft. 4ins. by 7ins. in thickness, supported at one end by two props, fell upon him. A slant became visible in the roof after the fall occurred. The piece which fell in appeared to have been unequally supported, and the slant forming a loose end the props became overbalanced. Bleurs Seam. Safety lamps.
