Deceased was oiling some bearings of the shafting of the screening machine when a stud caught the sleeve of his coat and he was carried round and so badly bruised that he died on the way home. The mechanical engineer had given instructions that no oiling was to be done while the machinery was in motion but the foreman of the screeners allowed it to be done.
