- 6 April 1943: Fife Colliery’s First Fatal Accident - William Davidson (33), coal stripper, 50 Robertson Road, Dunfermline, was struck on the head by a fall of roof in the north side development section of Comrie Colliery, belonging to the Fife Co., Ltd.
