Inspector of Mines' Report - 1925: Underground Haulage Accident Three haulage fatalities occurred at Bowhill Colliery, Fife. In the first case four men were walking up a steep dook on their way home when the haulage started. Instead of taking refuge one man continued on his way, was caught by the tubs, knocked down, and fatally injured.
