- Details of Event
- With other drivers he was standing at the inbye end of the landing waiting for the empty set. A set of full tubs was standing ready to go out. When the empty set came in it was derailed at the points by some loose stone and fouled the standing full set pushing it down the landing. The main rope between the ways, set swinging by the derailment, knocked the lad under the full tubs as they were pushed back. When an empty set is entering a landing in which a full set is standing, it is highly desirable that persons and horses should be kept at a safe distance from the inbye end of the full set.
