- Details of Event
- In roadway to working place, whilst collecting his tools preparatory to leaving, stone fell from the unsecured lip of the ripping, it was undoubtedly loosened by a shot previously fired, there were the usual dislocations from shot fumes on the upper surface. The stone was 8 feet long by 4 feet wide and 9 inches thick. It is not wise to leave the ripping lip unsecured as in this coal. (Good roof).
