Details of Event
Whilst endeavouring to give an alarm to the rope boy in the main haulage road he was caught by a runaway tub. The runaway was the first full tub of a set of 22, but bow it was detached is not known. When it passed the safety block 50 yards below the bank head it was properly coupled.
