- Details of Event
- Deceased was setting a prop at the face when the roof gave way and killed him instantly. It was found that at the time of the accident deceased had exceeded the maximum timbering distance, with a fall knowledge that a break existed in the roof. The Fireman had drawn his attention to the break more than an hour before the accident happened, and deceased had filled four or five tubs in the interval.
