Run over by hutches. Nineteen year old John Craig, miner's drawer, 39 Hazelbank Gardens, Stirling, who fractured his spine when he fell between two loaded hutches in the Main Coal section of No.2 Pit, Polmaise Colliery, died in Stirling Royal Infirmary on Saturday. The accident occurred on 19 June. (Stirling Observer).
