Deceased and a repairer, having lost their lights while repairing on a main intake haulage road, had got into a manhole and sent their lamps to re-lit. Therefore the lamps returned, deceased, against the advice of the repairer, attempted to got to a more comfortable manhole but was caught by an outgoing journey as he was fumbling for it in the dark.
