- Deceased was in Airdrie and lost the train he started to walk to his home at Whitburn 9 miles away and near the quarry on the Edinburgh and Glasgow road he sat down and fell asleep; when he awoke he took the wrong road and wandered to the quarry and crossing the fence he fell into the quarry and was killed. He was the worse of drink.
